Partnering with Builders: Seamless Design Solutions

Initial Builder Designer Meeting

The first step in my builder program is a introductory meeting where we get to know each other and establish a collaborative partnership. This discussion allows us to align on our work styles, expectations, and processes. It’s an opportunity for me to understand your approach to building and for you to learn how I integrate design into the construction process. Whether we’re embarking on a custom home, a renovation, or another exciting project, this meeting sets the tone for a seamless and productive working relationship. Here is an example of what we will need to discuss:

  • The base-line scope and tiered budget for your projects given to the client
  • Your timeline expectations
  • Goals you envision a designer can assist you with
  • A guidance level assessment
  • Next steps review
  • Design package and Design Fee
